I cannot believe that this is even a debate topic. Everyone forgets that Curry is at the end of his prime, whereas Lillard is entering his prime. We cannot compare the players now but I will still do it because Curry is on a different planet than Lillard. Curry is in his 12th season, whereas Lillard is only in his 9th season.
Curry’s career stats are: 23.6 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 6.6 apg, 1.7 steals/g, 47.6% FG, 43.4% 3P, 90.7% FT
Lillard’s career stats are: 24.2 ppg, 4.2 rpg, 6.5 apg, 1.0 steals/g, 43.7% FG, 37.3% 3P, 88.9% FT
Curry’s current season stats are: 32.0 ppg, 5.3 rpg, 6.4 apg, 1.0 steals/g, 46.3% FG, 36.9% 3P, 98.2% FT
Lillard’s current season stats are: 26.3 ppg, 4.3 rpg, 6.2 apg, 0.7 steals/g, 42.6% FG, 36.5% 3P, 92.5% FT
Curry’s achievements are: 3x Champion, 2x MVP, 6x All Star, Scoring Champion (2016), Unanimous MVP, 3x First Team
Lillard’s achievements are: 0x Champion, 0x MVP, 5x All Star, 1x First Team
Steph Curry also dropped 62 points on Lillard on 1/3/21. The debate is over, Curry is a million times better than Lillard.
