Mets SUPER important trade

Mets got Fransisco Lindor and Carlos Carrasco for Andres Gimenez (SS), Amed Rosario (SS), Ryan Wolf RHP, and Isiah Greene OF

Carlos Carrasco is a “top 10 SP in the league”- Ben F

Carrasco has 11 years in his career (33 years old). His career stats are: 88-73, 3.73 ERA, 1305 K 1242.1 IP, 1.20 WHIP. He also won comeback player of the year in 2019.

Lindor has 6 years in his career (27 years old). His career stats are: .285 AVG, 138 HR, 411 RBI, 99 SB, .833 On Base Plus Slugging. He is also a 4x All Star, 2x Silver Slugger, 2x Gold Glove, 1x Platinum Glove (2016), AL player of the month (May 2018), AL rookie of the month (September 2015).

Mets Projected Starters for 2021:

C: James McCann

1B: Pete Alonso

2B: Jeff McNeil

3B: JD Davis

SS: Fransisco Lindor

OF: Brandon Nimmo, Michael Conforto, Dominic Smith

Team needs: 3B, LHP, OF

Free agents the Mets should target: Justin Turner 3B, George Springer OF, Brad Hand LHP, Andrew Chafin LHP, Oliver Perez LHP

The Mets roster now can compete for the World Series and I am stoked that we have a solid starting lineup and solid rotation 1-5. We desperately need a 3B and Justin Turner is the best available FA. Adding George Springer would make our lineup unstoppable. What we need the most is a left handed relief pitcher. The only LHP in our bullpen is Daniel Zamora.

The future is bright. 2 bets that I absolutely LOVE are: Mets to win NL (+650) and Mets to win World Series (+1200).

  1. When I originally commented I clicked the “Notify me when new comments are added” checkbox and now each time
a comment is added I get three e-mails with the same
comment. Is there any way you can remove people from that service?
    Thank you!
